On July 9, the completion and relocation ceremony of INSPIRE ROBOTS’ Changshu Intelligent Manufacturing Base was held in Changshu High-Tech Zone. Government leaders including Jiang Xiangyang and Tao Chuanlong, Members of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Directors of the Changshu High-Tech Zone Management Committee, attended the event. INSPIRE ROBOTS founder and Chairman Cai Yingpeng, along with company executives and employee representatives, jointly witnessed this key milestone in the company’s development.
At the ceremony, INSPIRE ROBOTS founder Cai Yingpeng delivered a speech. Reflecting on the company’s ten-year journey since its founding in 2016, he recounted the company’s commitment to overcoming the “last centimeter” challenge in robot value realization through core dexterous hand technology. The company has achieved in-house R&D and production of full-chain core components including micro motors, reducers, and planetary roller screws, holds over 100 core patents, has undertaken multiple national-level key projects, and has grown into a national-level key “Little Giant” specialized and sophisticated enterprise in the dexterous hand sector. In 2025, dexterous hand shipments exceeded 10,000 units with over 60% global market share, covering leading humanoid robotics and new energy manufacturing companies both domestically and internationally, forming a dual-driven business pattern of advanced manufacturing and embodied AI. Recalling the company’s connection with Changshu High-Tech Zone since 2019—at a time when the company was in its early start-up低谷—the Zone provided crucial support across policy, supply chain, and industrial resources, helping the company smoothly navigate development challenges to reach today’s full-scale production expansion. Looking ahead, INSPIRE ROBOTS will use the Changshu Intelligent Manufacturing Base as its core production hub, gathering upstream and downstream industrial chains and co-building joint innovation platforms, with government and enterprise working together to cultivate deep technology and build a Yangtze River Delta embodied AI industry landmark, jointly opening a new chapter in the humanoid robot industry.
Mr. Tao Chuanlong, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Changshu High-Tech Zone Management Committee, delivered congratulations on behalf of the Zone. He noted that the Zone has gathered over 100 robotics-related companies, forming a complete intelligent equipment industrial chain. In 2019, INSPIRE ROBOTS was the Zone’s first introduced project in robotics core components. After a decade of deep cultivation in dexterous hand core technology, the company now stands as the industry leader. With the base’s expansion—tripling in area and projected to achieve over 600 million RMB in annual output value at full capacity—it will significantly strengthen the region’s embodied AI industrial capabilities. Director Tao stated that the Zone will continue to provide excellent business services and looks forward to INSPIRE ROBOTS using the new base as a starting point to further expand production capacity, attract technology talent, and drive the establishment of supporting upstream and downstream enterprises. Through mutual empowerment between government and enterprise, they will seize the humanoid robot industry opportunity, jointly build a robust industrial ecosystem, and help the company achieve greater success.
After the ceremony, guests toured the new production facilities and smart exhibition hall, observing the full-process production lines for Micro Linear Servo Actuators and five-fingered dexterous hands, gaining firsthand insight into the company’s mass-production capabilities for self-developed core components and its intelligent manufacturing standards.
This comprehensively upgraded Changshu Intelligent Manufacturing Base serves as INSPIRE ROBOTS’ core strategic vehicle for significantly increasing production capacity and long-term development, centrally undertaking the mass-production tasks for dexterous hands and Micro Linear Servo Actuators, and continuously consolidating the company’s global leadership in the dexterous hand sector. Currently, INSPIRE ROBOTS has formed a dual-driven business pattern of “advanced manufacturing + embodied AI,” advancing in parallel through technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing to lay a solid foundation for industry-wide large-scale application.
